Description

The THAT 1510 and 1512 are high performance current-feedback instrumentation amplifiers designed for low source-impedance preamp and bus summing applications. The ICs are available in a variety of packages and pin configurations, making them pin compatible with the Analog Devices SSM2019 and SSM2017 (discontinued), and the Texas Instruments INA217 and INA163.

The parts are designed from the ground up in THAT’s complementary dielectric isolation process and include on-chip laser-trimmed Si-Chrome thin film resistor. In microphone preamplifier applications, both the 1510 and 1512 improve on previous integrated designs by offering lower noise at low gains, wider bandwidth, higher slew rate, lower distortion, and lower supply current.

Analog Secrets Your Mother Never Told You(1528k)
Originally presented at the 123rd AES Convention, this seminar provides tips and techniques to achieve optimal performance in the analog signal path. Topics covered range from inputs (balanced line and mic level) to outputs (balanced to single-ended), and include analog signal processing (VCAs, RMS detection, and Analog Engines).

More Analog Secrets Your Mother Never Told You(915k)
A sequel to our popular first “Analog Secrets” seminar, this new presentation exposes more design secrets including “extreme performance” microphone preamps, protecting audio inputs/outputs during phantom power faults, and maintaining high dynamic range in low cost applications.
